HUGH JACKMAN NAKED?
Many rumors have been swirling around Hugh Jackman's participation as the host of the 2009 Oscars. Now, the impressive actor, full-time sex symbol, and all around showman joked:
"I haven't told anyone this, but we are going to do most of it naked and we're going to sing through the whole show.
"In fact, all the acceptance speeches are going to be sung. There will be some interpretive dance behind them, and I really think it will be beautiful and touching.
"There will be a strategic leaf placed here or there. We don't want to be distasteful or anything. This is a raw night. This is the Oscars. Raw emotion, that's the quality we're going for."
That will be an Oscar telecast I want to see! But alas, it's just a joke. But this I can guarantee you, producers Bill Condon and Laurence Mark made an excellent choice by picking Jackman, and the star will inject high-energy to the show!
ANNE HATHAWAY PERFORMING?
Unconfirmed reports about Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway to open the Academy Awards with a song-and-dance number have been blazing through the world wide web.
Apparently, Hathaway was seen rehearsing at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood yesterday, Thursday. And there are insiders saying she'll kick off the Oscar telecast with Hugh Jackman.
Other stars rumored to be teaming up with Jackman are: Beyonce Knowles, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and the kids from "Slumdog Millionaire." Ooops, that last one was a joke
SPEAKING OF THE "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE" CHILD ACTORS, THEY WILL ATTEND THE OSCARS!!!
First, let's talk about the accusations. Rumor has it that "Slumdog" producers and director Danny Boyle underpaid the child stars, Rubiana Ali (young Latika) and Azharuddin Ismail (young Malik).
According to reports, both kids were paid $725 and $2,465 respectively for their work.
But Boyle and company said, uh uh, the children were "paid three times the average local annual adult salary, were enrolled in school for the first time, and a fund was established for their future welfare."
Okay, I feel much better now!
Oh, and to prove their claims, FOX Searchlight has confirmed the kids will "receive A-list treatment" and will be put up in a five-star hotel for two days!
Aw, that's cute, and cool, and they deserve it darn it!
Fox Searchlight representative James Finn says, "Everybody is really excited about it. It's nice the whole gang will be together."
MICKEY ROURKE SAYS HE'S NOT GOING TO WIN!
Call it reverse optimism, or flash-forward pessimism, but "The Wrestler's" Mickey Rourke says he's not going to win Best Actor this Sunday!
Why? He says because of his past bad behavior towards the industry, and most importantly, towards studio bosses!
Rourke further claims:
"It's voted for by people from the movie business and in the past I've hacked them all off. I was good at that. It came easy to me. I stupidly said acting wasn't a job for a real man. I threatened producers, raged at directors, forgot my agent's name. I really burned my bridges. And a lot of people have long memories."
Aw, come on Mister Mickey, you're the comeback kid! And I think Hollywood can and has forgiven you! Quit feeling sorry for yourself, dust yourself up, and let's hope and pray there will be a Best Actor tie between you and Sean Penn. Wouldn't that be great?

According to an Oscars spokeswoman, Leslie Unger, "The document is a complete fraud."
"PricewaterhouseCoopers is still counting the ballots and there are only two people there who will know the complete list of winners in advance of the envelopes being opened during the ceremony. The Academy's president is not advised of the winners in advance and no such list is created."
Hhhhmmmm, I wonder who leaked this. Who will gain the most by doing such a thing? Ah, people talking about the Oscars? Ratings? ABC? Perhaps not! Or an overzealous fan? We may never know!
But don't put your money on this list, again, IT'S FAKE!!!!
