I finally got the chance to sit down with Amanda Seyfried. She's an astute young actress who's been picking the right roles. She is definitely picture-perfect as Red Riding Hood. She has an ethereal quality that makes her look transcend time and place.
And she's a bit shy. And she had trepidations about taking the lead role in this Leonardo DiCaprio-produced film.
In this interview, we talked about:
*** Why she chose to wear the red riding hood
*** Why did she have second thoughts about accepting the role
*** How does she pick her roles?
*** Why she's saying that director Catherine Hardwicke was proud to say she got Rob (Pattinson) and Kristen (Stewart) together
*** In the film, she must choose between Shiloh Fernandez and Max Irons. Who will she choose in real life?
Have Fun!

I enjoyed meeting these guys! They're sweet, and cordial, and are starring in the upcoming blockbuster, "Red Riding Hood."
Irons is the son of Jeremy, Irons, of course, and in the beginning of our interview, I jokingly told him that I ditched his father for him! I was scheduled to interview his father via satellite for his upcoming film, "The Last Lions," but had to change my schedule for "Red Riding Hood!"
In this interview, we talked about:
*** What attracted them to making the movie?
*** Was the journey all worth it?
*** Why you have to see "Red Riding Hood" right now!
HAVE FUN!

I enjoyed meeting Catherine Hardwicke, the female director who could open a blockbuster! That title, of course, came from her $69.6 million opening for "Twilight."
Now, she's back with a brand new film, "Red Riding Hood!" And I think you will enjoy it!
In this interview, we talked about:
*** Why she decided to infuse new blood to the fairy tale?
*** How did she pick her stars? Shiloh Fernandez was one of the contenders for the Edward Cullen role which eventually went to Rob Pattinson.
*** The sexual awakening and teenage alienation themes in her films, from "Thirteen" to "Twilight."
HAVE FUN!

Once upon a time, Catherine Hardwicke was crowned the only female director with the highest ever blockbuster opening for a movie. That was for the film “Twilight” which debuted with a $69.6 million opening.
Then, Summit Entertainment, the studio that “Twilight” built, unceremoniously dumped Hardwicke from helming future movies in the franchise. The director decided to team up with Leonardo DiCaprio and his Appian Way production company for a retelling of the popular fairy tale, “Red Riding Hood,” an unpredictable gothic mystery that will be unfairly compared to “Twilight.” Read More...
