Known as one of the worst films in cinematic history, Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space" is being remade! And it's going to be character driven!
What? Ed Wood's film wasn't character-driven enough?
The director, John Johnson, is promising his version will be bigger and better than the original. But here's the catch. Darkstone Entertainment, the company signed to release the remake, is not known for great, quality films. And Johnson, whose last film was the horrible 2006 B-movie "Skeleton Key" (not to be confused with the Kate Hudson flick), isn't a budding Scorsese either!
My prediction? This remake will be awful! At least the original was made with unintentional comedy. And truth be told, the Ed Wood film has its own natural charms.
