Just got back from a screening of "Role Models" and oh my gosh, IT'S FREAKING FUNNY!
For a movie that has a lot of sexual innuendos and the script has numerous cuss words (yes, kids do a lot of swearing in this flick), "Role Models" HAS A GIANT HEART!
Audience members walked out with smiling faces
I'll write my full review very soon, and I'll post my interviews as well.

President George W. Bush is such a popular subject in the entertainment world nowadays. Director Oliver Stone's "W" just barely opened in movie theaters, now, Will Ferrell will make his Broadway debut in January in the new solo comedy "You’re Welcome America. A Final Night With George W Bush."
Plot is still hush-hush, but read the full article here.

Paramount Pictures dashed the Oscar dreams of "The Soloist" starring Jamie Fox and Robert Downey Jr. Studio is moving the film from Nov. 21 to March 13. There's no official reason given by Paramount.
But another movie is being pushed back! Click here to read more.
While we're on the same subject, Weinstein Co. "may" also push "The Road" back. Originally set for a Nov. 14 limited and Nov. 26 wide release, now, it's beeing shifted until December, and some insiders are saying, maybe until 2009.
Why? The book is written by "No Country for Old Men's" Cormac McCarthy and it stars Viggo Mortensen, both Oscar catnips.
Speaking of "No Country," what's going on with Oscar hopefuls this year? Same time last year, I already interviewed and reviewed the Coen brothers' Best Picture drama. Now? I can't pinpoint a clear Oscar frontrunner except for "The Dark Knight."

In 2004, Brad Pitt played Achilles in "Troy" based on Homer's "The Iliad," now, the actor is set to star in "The Odyssey," the Greek poet's other Trojan War masterpiece.
It will be produced under the Warner Bros. banner and directed by George Miller (still attached to direct WB's "Justice League).
These are all good, until I found out that Miller and cohorts are planning to, are you ready for this? TO SET THE FILM INTO THE FUTURE!!!! IN OUTER SPACE!!!
What's up with that?
Homer's "The Odyssey" to go where no man has gone before?
I want to say Miller and company are nuts, but the director has a pretty good resume (the "Mad Max" movies, "Babe," "Happy Feet") so I'm reserving my judgment.
