The crew of the new Guy Ritchie film, "Sherlock Holmes" have started joking about the curse of Sherlock Holmes.
Why? The movie has been plagued by a series of mishaps, the most current one involving Robert Downey Jr. when he was knocked out by a giant wrestler.
According to WENN,
The Iron Man actor was filming a fight scene with seven foot (2.1 metre)-tall co-star Robert Maillet when the big man threw a punch that left Downey Jr. "out cold".
A nurse on set attended to the star and gave him six stitches in his mouth.
Other incident involved the cast and crew running for safety when a petrol tanker burst into flames closing down production for two hours.
Hhhmmmm, there maybe the curious case of the curse of Sherlock Holmes.

Richard Raddon resigned as director of the Los Angeles Film Festival, because of...his support for Proposition 8.
Apparently, Mister Richard, a Mormon, contributed $1,500 to the campaign to ban gay marriage in California.

Alright, I'm a self-confessed "Buffy" fan! I love love love the TV show, I even wrote an academic analysis of the show using the Third Wave of Feminism for my Graduate Studies thesis.
Oh, and at home? I have all the "Buffy" collectibles you can imagine. Signed trading cards, action figures from Season 1, yes, those will be my retirement money
So imagine my excitement when I heard this morning that there maybe a planned "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" flick courtesy of our friends from Moviehole!
Apparently, with "Twilight's" huge success,
Hollywood is once again entertaining thoughts about making a big screen version of the beloved TV series! YAY!
But, let's hold our excitement until official announcement has been made. For now, let's savor this lovely little morsel. According to The Herald-Sun newspaper in Australia, there's a "Buffy" script that's doing the rounds. They say:
The monster success of girly vampire pic Twilight at the US Box office last weekend could kick open the door for a big-screen return of Joss Whedon’s much-loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Rumours are circulating in Hollywood that Whedon has a feature-film script based on his hit TV series ready to roll as soon as a studio is prepared to commit. The Buffy concept was first unveiled as a movie in 1992 with long-forgotten Kristy Swanson in the title role.
Let's hope and pray that the Buffy-verse will once again envelop our lives! Can't wait for this one! And honestly, every vampire myths you saw at "Twilight," "Buffy" did it first
